Some boundaries aren't built by other people. We build them ourselves. That's basically the whole hook of the Daayra movie — a crime drama from Meghna Gulzar, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, landing in theatres September 18, 2026.
And honestly, the marketing so far has barely said anything. No big plot reveal, no "here's the twist" teaser bait. Just enough to make you curious and nothing more. That's a gamble in 2026, when most promos give away half the film just to trend for a day.
What we do know: this isn't shaping up to be a typical whodunit. It's leaning more into morality, guilt, the kind of judgment we pass on people without knowing their full story. Bigger questions than "who did it."
The Kapoor Khan–Sukumaran pairing is doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the hype right now — two actors who don't usually chase easy roles, working under a director with the same reputation. Expect posters, a song or two, maybe an interview drop before release. None of it will probably answer much. That's kind of the point.
